Hans-Georg Schierholz (16 August 1921 – 12 February 1996) was a radio/radar operator and ''Oberfeldwebel'' in the Luftwaffe during World War II, and a recipient of the Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross ((ドイツ語:Ritterkreuz des Eisernen Kreuzes)). The Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross was awarded to recognise extreme battlefield bravery or successful military leadership. As a ''Bordfunker'' (radio/radar operator) in the night fighter force he flew on 212 combat missions, supported in 57 aerial victories, and bailed out four times. He served in the crews of ''Oberfeldwebel'' Rudolf Frank and ''Major'' Werner Husemann, the ''Gruppenkommandeur'' (group commander) of I.
